Robert is a CFA level 3 candidate and was recruited to Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management at 24. After successfully graduating from a Financial Advising program with a 95% attrition rate, he allocated investments of over $50 million. Robert has a history of remaining convicted in what can succinctly be defined as ‘early and accurate investments in contrarian truths’ (ie; Tesla and Bitcoin in 2013). When Morgan Stanley asked Robert to forfeit his cryptocurrency position as per the official company policy in 2017, Robert walked away from a predictable and lucrative practice to launch Jefferson Capital and the Genesys Fund, investing in what he believed to be an inevitable and exciting future.
Michael Margaritoff first began tracking Bitcoin in 2010, at the age of 16. Later, his perfect ACT scores earned him a full ride scholarship to NYU in Shanghai, where he became fluent in Mandarin (his 5th language). As a featured writer for his school newspaper, Michael became known for his ability to digest and express esoteric subject matter. He is now a contributing writer for Hacker Noon, a popular tech publication.

Caleb Smith is Chief Investment Officer and Managing Partner at Jefferson Capital. He began his financial career at the age of 16, learning about options trading and complex derivative strategies. While a licensed Series 7 & 66 holder, he developed a global macro trading strategy that outperformed the S&P consistently under his management and was recruited as an Investor at JPMorgan Private Bank. His core investment selections have come in emerging and innovative global technologies. Caleb holds a B.A. in Economics and History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is also a graduate of Deerfield Academy.
Blockchain Product Lead
Kevin Wang started his career managing a $15 million endowment fund while at Stanford before joining and starting multiple early-stage startups in fintech and crypto. He began investing in cryptocurrency in 2012 and subsequently thereafter learned to program smart contracts in solidity. He now manages a team of engineers as a product launch specialist with a focus on DeFi and NFT protocols.
